We have thought about ways we could advertise The Colours single if we were actually going to sell the single itself. we have though about advertising in magazines, adverts show on TV to engage all ages we spoke about also creating a bold poster for everyone to notice wherever they go, As this is a sixthform project we are going t stick with creating a poster. We have decided that we would like to make it colourful and out there.

Further Audience research
We set up a focus group during our lesson to focus on positives and negatives of our music video. We gave each student a piece of paper which the could fold in half to write critical comments on them , we gave them each a pencil and asked them not to put their names on the paper to keep them anonymous. They then watched the whole video and commented , we have some recorded footage of the group in action. We read the comments after also and one that stood out to me was "I liked the lypsyncing as it was in time with the music and looked realistic however the keyboard player didn't play in time with the music" i think this was an honest opinion and i even noticed these things my self. By doing this i learnt that there were many things we could have improved on yet there are many things that worked well throughout our development.

new post
We have just created a questionaire which we will then get people to fill out after watching our video. As well as this we are going to record some peoples opinions on camera and then edit them and post them on out blogs.

Things that come to mind when i think of The Colours digi pack

Target audience
When we come back from our holiday we are going to get an audience to view our music video and help us see where we went wrong, where we went right and what type of audience they think our video will appeal to. I think that our music video will appeal to teenage girls and boys who are perhaps in a similar situation. The reason i think it'll appeal to teenagers is because teenagers have these issues with the other gender and tend to find them selves in complicated relationships as a process of learning, A lot of teenagers take relationships seriously and this is why i think our music video is something teenagers can relate to. I also think that as we are teenagers ourselves we influence the way they think and behave and i think being a film made by teenagers is more effective than it would have been if made by adults.
